This article will guide you to Configure the Raw Access Logs through cPanel. Raw Access logs contain detailed information of every single visit to your site. This Raw Access log information can be archived and stored in your Home directory every month as a compressed file. This Raw Access logs can be downloaded as a zip file, you can download it and view it via a text editor. In Raw Access, the information is not represented in the form of graph, chart, animations or graphics. Sometimes Raw Access logs help you to know about who are all accessing your website. The previous month’s archived Raw Access files can be deleted. Follow these steps to Configure Raw Access Logs through cPanel,
Step 1 – Login to your cPanel
Step 2 – Click Raw Access under Metrics section.
Step 3 – Do these steps in this page.
- Click the first checkbox, if you want to Archive logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run every 24 hours.
- Click the second checkbox, if you want to Remove the previous month’s archived logs from your home directory at the end of each month.
- Click Save.
Now you are successfully configured the Raw Access logs.
To Download as Archive File
Step 1 – Login to your cPanel
Step 2 – Click Raw Access under Metrics section.
Step 3 – Click on the Filename and save it your Computer.
Raw Access logs are used to know about the number of visits happened in your website during a month. You can archive, save or delete it. You can download the Raw Access logs as a zipped file to your computer by clicking on the file name. You can configure Raw Access logs easily, you can set removal of archived logs from home directory and also configure it to archive the logs on every 24 hours.
